Living life! I'm widowed *since Dec., 14th 2012* my hubby was a *JARHEAD* so *HOOOOOORAH*. We were together for 30+ yrs. Well, to tell a little more about myself, have 1 grown son and 2 lovely granddaughters. I reside in MD, been here for quite a while now and love it here. Born in NC. Everything with me now is kinda strange and new plus getting used to my life on my own now. But as we all know, life goes on, knowing the direction sometimes, is a little scary. I was recently diagnosed *within 2013* and still learning but I know I have to carry on, be happy again *but learning to be happy within myself*, start going out, meeting people and maybe in time start dating *it's been eons since I've even dated* SO IT'S LIKE, OH MY GOODNESS! By the way, I'm not a religious person but more spiritual, can be shy at times, even crack a corny joke or 2 but most important, finding that person to make me smile again. I'm still learning the site and finding it's a wonderful place also noting this is a VERY new beginning for me. OH YEAH, DID I MENTION , I'm the Mommie of 2 mixed breed furballs *Benny & Bootzilla aka Bootsie*, who keep me on my toes plus learning how to take care of a home by myself.
