What you see is what you get. I'm opinionated, inquisitive, in your face, foul-mouthed, full of energy and passion about what I believe in. I like to have a good time and believe that life is too short to waste on pettiness and BS. Intelligence is a real turn-on for me, but so are empathy, loyalty, kindness, a wicked sense of humour, and street smarts. I know a lot of bright ppl who just don't 'get' it. I have my quiet moments. I like to think about too many things at once.
Good food, good wine, good friends and endless debating on the topic du jour is my idea of heaven. I believe that there are no absolutes for something so relative as life, so I don't get along with close-minded individuals.
I love my friends and my family more than anything. I talk too fast. I drink too much. I laugh too loud. I talk to my cat. She has yet to answer back, but I'm working on it.
I'm easy-going and hate drama. I love to travel and learn; if I won the lottery, I would spend the rest of my life travelling the world, writing, and taking courses. I like my "alone" time and choose not to answer my phone at times; don't take it personally.
I don't really have a "type". I'm attracted to all types of guys (usually younger than I am, but I give everyone a fair shot), but I suppose the common denominator would have to be confidence, intelligence, passion for what they do and what they believe in, and an incredible sense of adventure! I don't look my age, don't act my age, and am looking for the same. Someone who's in love with life, who feels it's a mystery to be revealed and not a problem to be solved. I need a guy who has eyes that smile. Who looks like he's privy to an inside joke only we share. Who looks like he's up to no good, a kidder and an enfant terrible, but is solid when it really counts.
