Looking for acceptance ... I am a fun-loving, charismatic, funny and caring woman. My sense of humor is awesome; it takes a lot to offend me. My father used to be a truck driver and I inherited his vocabulary, however, I am still a lady and can talk like one too. I like joking around, laughing, singing (even though I can’t) and I am also sarcastic. If sarcasm is not your thing then I won’t be either. My music taste has a pretty wide range. My least favorite is probably country but I do have my favorites. I love 80’s and 90’s music, classic rock, disco, heavy metal, punk – I will listen to almost anything. I have been an on again / off again (currently off) student for over 20 years – no degree YET but it isn’t over! My current area of interest is Criminal Justice. There are so many aspects to this that I have yet to determine which path I will take. Time will tell. The spring and fall in Colorado are my absolute favorite. I love to be outdoors during these seasons. I like to have BBQ’s, go on picnics, walks in the park and drives to the mountains. Since I am not athletic, long hikes and mountain climbing are not for me. I don’t mind the summer as long as I am at a pool, which I don’t have, so the A/C is my very best friend in the summer. Winter – well, it is what it is here in good ole Colorado. I don’t mind it. I am an independent, self-sufficient woman and don’t ‘need’ anyone to take care of me. I am seeking the same in a man. I want someone who can take care of himself and wants to find someone for the right reasons, not to be taken care of. Pet peeves include but are not limited to: judgmental people, prejudice, racism, sexism, small minds and playing mind games. I cannot and will not play any kind of mind games. I will be up front and honest with you and I expect the same in return. I was diagnosed with HSV 1 and HSV2 in March, I am learning to deal with it the best I can.
