Looking for Love One of the downsides of online dating is that you don't get to meet and get to know each other in a traditional setting. When you have an STD, when do you tell someone your news who is looking for a long-term relationship just like you are? Do you wait until they get to know the real you and are really into you so they potentially feel deceived or do you tell them sooner rather than later because you don't want to waste yours or their time if your affliction (though controlled with medication) is a deal breaker? I'm tired of finding someone really nice and cool, establishing a rapport, talking about everything from short-term goals to bucket lists, blah blah... and then they disappear almost immediately after I tell them. I'm tired of being rejected because of something my husband brought home with him while I was pregnant... I'm tired of explaining myself and then trying to prove myself worthy of a relationship and love regardless of my affliction. Anyway... I'm looking for what everyone else is looking for. Love and a long-term relationship. Understanding. Non-judgment. I'm a great person, pretty easy on the eyes (so I've been told), and I have ambition and drive. I want the same from my guy.
