i am a southern born boy that was transplanted to the northwest when i was six. i pretty much can safely say that i grew up in the seattle area. my georgian accent is now long gone, and seems that i am more knowledgeable about gortex and slugs than i am of lightning bugs and stone mountain. although i love seattle with a passion, the weather did wear on me, so i moved to arizona in 2002. i love the weather here, but it can get a little hot sometimes. i will move again someday...i don't see this as my permanent dwelling place, but i'm not so sure where.

i think i am a kind guy, mild mannered, but certainly no superhero...except to my kiddos of course...i probly come across as a dork at first because usually at first i am a dork. i'm pretty to the point, but not in a rude kinda way, more like a "sticking my foot in my mouth" kinda way. i'm inquisitive in a way that sometimes puts me in a hole, but i am also open that way to...meaning i say way to much about myself both good and bad. i know my own faults and have no problem whatsoever picking on myself. it keeps me sane to laugh at myself.

i am recently divorced (9/200 after a year and a half long separation. i am currently looking for my purpose (it's rough, if you have been through it, you know what i am talking about). the divorce took alot out of me and i am quite beaten up to be frank. i know that things will be okay. i have that confidence. i also am ready to move on, drama free. i am looking for someone that is willing to take it slow until my wounds heal a bit. i am not going to rush into marriage, but i am not afraid of it either. i have only been divorced once and trust me, i tried to make it work for a very long time, we were married for nearly 17 years, with only the one separation at the end and no affairs or flings during that time, so if you are afraid that i won't be committed or loyal to you based on the fact that i am of the male species, let my time of service speak for itself!
