Just Awaiting the Opportunity Well, here i am... going to give the old college try, so to speak! I've been trying to get back into the dating scene recently. I met a few very nice people, but "the talk" was always in the back of my mind. Of course, when "the talk" happened, it usually ended the courting, and i would again get the familiar view of the back of a woman's heels running out the door. This has again and again become the norm, and it can be painful when you get attached. I'm tired of having to lose the things i care about... and maybe this site is an answer to having to deal with "the talk" again. I just want to be accepted. i just want to be given the opportunity to be the gentleman I was raised to be. I just want to be given the chance to possibly be "the one" instead of "the guy who was absolutely awesome until i found out about his issues".
