I'm a city girl. My bus pass gets me where I want to go. My iCalendar is very full, deliberately so. I attend many humanist, atheist and skeptic meetings. I take advantage of as many FREE things as the city has to offer.

I believe in evolution. I believe in the scientific method. I believe in evidence. Extra-ordinary claims require extra-ordinary evidence. Carl Sagan. Richard Dawkins. Ricky Gervais. Julia Sweeney. HITCHENS!!!

I was looking around for a new place to live.. but nothing was quite right. So I'll stay where I am for now.

Having decided not to move, I got the place painted and I'm buying art and moving the furniture around. Gave myself a $2,000 budget.

My 19 year old son will be home over Christmas. The cat will be happy. Poor kitty is often home alone because I am out so much. Well, swimming three times a week and having a second job takes up many evenings in the week.

TV? Sometimes. I've been watching Coronation Street for many many years. I've been watching Judge Judy a lot lately. There's just so many people in my life that I would like to be able to yell at in a Judge Judy way - YOU'RE RIDICULOUS!

Humour? Ricky Gervais. Bill Maher. Jon Stewart.

Art? Monet. Dali. Watercolours depicting Southern Ontario roads and trees - any season.

Politics? Personally conservative, socially very liberal. I support the Occupy movement.

Food? Must have fries at least once a week. I can resist chocolate and desserts quite easily, but absolutely cannot resist fresh baked bread. Of course, when I do indulge that means an extra 20 minutes at the gym.

Retirement? Never.
