Looking for a balanced love relationship with you! It has never been very clear to me what one should write in these profiles, how much, or even the degree of openness. In the past, as you can see from my blogs, I've written a lot and have always strived to be truthful in what I say. Some have told me that the length of my writing can intimidate, which clearly has not been my intention. Still in a world of instant messaging, sound bites, texts & tweets, the art of letter writing seems to be vanishing. To me this is a pity, if that's the case, as I believe for any relationship to flourish good honest communication has to be a part of it. But maybe ones' profile should be very concise, so this time I will try that approach.

As for what I am hoping to find with someone, here is a list; yet it isn't full of absolutes, rather part want, need, and dream. Consider this an index; get to know me to learn what's inside.

1) To find a woman who I will spend the rest of my life with.
2) We should share a fair number of interests & aspirations.
3) Things like home, family, love, and tradition have a place in their heart.
4) Like me, in kindness, giving, honor, intelligence, & spirit.
5) Know I can't move very far from Central Virginia because of my girls.
6) They are a passionate and romantic person, equal to me.

I like doing a lot of different activities including: art, biking, camping, cooking, crafts, dancing, fairs, festivals, galleries, gardening, hiking, kites, massage, museums, photography, skating, theater, theme parks, travel, writing, yoga, listening to music or watching movies. You will find me handy in the house and outside too. Being a 'giver', I feel that touch is quite important, as is time spent together, kinds words, lending a hand, the occasional presents for no reason, and a sense of humor.
