hoping to find hope I am tentatively joining this website because although the statistics show that 1 in 5 people are affected by HSV, I've never met anyone personally besides myself. I am struggling to come to grips with this and am hoping to find some comfort in talking to those who have HSV as well and can lend some advice about how to learn to move forward and regain hope in yourself and the possibility of finding another... I never dreamed this could happen to me, yet with all of the precautions I have taken, it managed to anyway... I know that I have a lot going for me, but feel that this is such a huge set back. I am fearful that I will never find someone to accept this as part of me... the first step though is accepting it myself, which hasn't happened. I'm not trying to sing some woe is me song, but I am sad and am hoping that in joining this website I might find some solace...inspiration... hope. We'll see...
