I am an independent, educated and young black woman who is loving and caring. I love God, family, friends, work, and fun. It just so happened that I fell in love with someone who didn't love me enough to give me the choice of whether or not I wanted herpes. He never told me until AFTER the fact. With that said, I forgive him...I refuse to let this consume me and forgiveness sets you free.

Although herpes is serious, it will not kill me (unless I let it). It's just another obstacle to overcome in this world (God never promised us a perfect life). I am more than "someone living with herpes".

I have many great qualities...but be careful trying to test me lol. I have a great life and career. I am working on my second bachelors and plan on attending grad school next year. I love to help others and want to make a difference in the lives of children, especially young women.

Just like every human on this planet, I have been through pain and sarrow. However, I am stronger because of that. I know my purpose in life and God has a plan for me. I hope that God will show me that man who he chose to be my partner in life.

My ideal guy doesn't have to be perfect becuase I definitely have my flaws. He just needs to be caring, sensitive, funny, a GREAT COMMUNICATOR, and LOVES GOD and his family. I could care less about what his ethnicity/race is, but he needs to be easy on the eyes too lol. Not the type of chick to try to change you, but we both have to compromise (agree to disagree maybe?)Even if we are not a love match, I welcome friendship with open arms. Ultimately, my man has to be my best friend. Are you my friend?
