I am a slightly over weight male, that has been divorced for going on two years, after a long marriage of just over 36 years. I filed for the divorce, as a last resort. I have no regrets, and am now looking at getting out and dating again. I am a bit old fashion and believe that a woman should be treated with diginity and respect, and ...well....just treated like the lady she is!!

I value honesty and intergity and loyality,and think they are the most important traits a person can have! I will not comprise my values, and I would not expect anybody else to compromise theirs!

I enjoy cooking and I make a really good pecan brittle and some good christmas cookies too! I am a bit of a Christmas freak! I believe that it is OK for a man to cook meals for his lady! And I enjoy doing it! It is even more fun and much better to share in the cooking and making meals together!

I am retired military, after I retired I went back to school and got a job in the medical career field. A few years after I started working in my new career, I hurt my back and was put on permanent disability. I use a cane but I am not crippled, it just helps me walk sometimes. When I retired from the military I also retired my razor, I have a santa beard that is white as the snow,although my hair on my head is not white yet! I keep my beard clean and shampoo it every day! If you do not like whiskers, then you will not like me! But if you like Saint Nick I might be just the person for you. LOL
I am looking for a gentle compassionate soul that will care as much about me as I care about them. Someone that can be a very good close friend, and then if we really like each other, well then who knows????. I believe in courting a woman, if that sounds old fashion or corny...well maybe it is. But that is me!
