In looking back, I have learned that the strength in relationship comes down to one thing: Do I trust your heart? I found that I did trust those whose relationships I gave my time to. As the trust grew, so did the freedom for both of us to not live in our false selves: freedom to be open about weaknesses, fears, needs and freedom to pursue independent interests and desires. We did not need each other, we desired each other. But with this freedom, comes the need to guard your heart too.
What else about me: My faith is my core. I love hearing stories, making people laugh and at work helping them navigate through deep, difficult and dark times -- sometimes, I am their only friend. I love kids, grand kids, a spontaneous weekend get away. Long walks and discovering new places to hike.
Physically: I am at my high school weight, I take step aerobics 3-4 mornings a week, and an occasional yoga or hot yoga class on off days.
