.I love children and I never pass on anyone just because they have or want children. It doesn't mean that I must have children by birth to have a relationship. I'll be happy to adopt if I really want more and can't find anyone to partner with.

The correct answer is YES, you can!

I am an asymptomatic herpes carrier, so I haven't had an outbreak since the first time, HOWEVER that was my first question to the doctor.

So longs you are not having an outbreak at the time of birth, you are clear to give vaginal birth, and risk of transmission is extremely low.

`I think there are also ways to be implanted with the sperm if you are concerned about catching it from your boyfriend (assuming you do not both have hsv)

`i found out i had herpes when I was pregnant with my second child. two weeks before I was to give birth. They gave me medicine i had to take for a couple of days. if I had an outbreak I would have had to get an emergency c section. They check to see if you have an outbreak or not and since I had just gotten treated and had no outbreaks it wasnt necessary to give me a c section. They take it very serious because if you give the child the disease it can kill infants you would know right away if you passed it to the child they would come out with a high fever and have an outbreak, they would be born very sick. It is very much so still possible for you to have a child with herpes and c section is not your only way if you have no children and you want one i would go about it the safest way however for me. I found out when I was pregnant thank god my child was born without it but i dont want to chance iit again I would like to have my tubes tide. Imm blessed to have two but good luck to you

This is true of someone having an initial primary attack. The reason being, the baby has no antibodies. it is much more common in females who do not know they have Herpes.

I had a natural childbirth . As long as you are not having a primary outbreak and you and your doctor are aware that you have Herpes, it can be an option.

The baby gets the antibodies from the mother, so the baby is afforded some protection at birth and several months after. You have more to worry about from people kissing your baby's face and eyes after birth as most people are not aware they have Herpes on their face (and call it a cold sore) and yet it has severe consequences for brain and eye infection.

Having a C section is surgery ... invasive surgery and both you and the child are more at risk then in natural birth.
