What they don't tell you in health class when they say "if you have an std it burns when you pee," is that when you have an std it BURNS when you pee.
I had a lot of issues with that during my last (and first) outbreak, so if anyone has tips I'd love to hear them.
So far all I've figured out is that drinking tones of water does help. It makes your urine less acidic. I probably drank 5-10 liters a day during the first week!
That still didn't do it totally. There were times that I could only pass urine in a bathtub full of warm water. (it does help so so so much) But that's not convenient or glamourous so if anyone has a secret please share it with me!
Sincerely, Virus'd in Victoria

`You can take Valtrex or a generic brand for much less month to prevent breakouts. Then you can pee as much as you want!

`I use the hot water in the tub to pee and that helps a lot.
You can also buy rubber gloves and when you pee cover the sores with it while you pee and it doesn't burn nearly as much. (:
Diapar rash creame like desiton, aarabon, etc dry the sores if you put it over them after you pee causing less burning the next time.
Just be thankful i got my first breakout on the 1st day of my period ):

`Using the bathtub full of water when you pee does help SOOO much. I thought my doctors were crazy and sick when it was mentioned, but it DOES work. Also, one thing that I was never warned about in health class is that your labia can swell really big and STICK TOGETHER! I thought they were going to have to put a catheter in me. My vagina was WELDED SHUT! I could barely push pee out and it hurt incredibly bad. Thank God the other outbreaks won't be as bad as the first!

`Valacyclorvir generic brand for Valtrax only $3.00 with prescription from your doctor! I don't get outbreaks no more and only outbreak that burnt me was my first and the medicine did a justice. its also a medicine they can give you to put down there to numb the whole area i think its called lidocane or something similar. That stuff works really good!
