OK SO TRYING TO POST SOMETHING FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE NEW HERE

IM NEW HERE TOO. WHEN I FIRST GOT HERE I NEEDED AND WANTED A LOT OF SUPPORT, AND I STILL DO, SO TALK TO PEOPLE, DO WHAT U HAVE TO DO AND BE SAFE AND SMART, THERE WILL BE UNDERSTANDING PEOPLE OUT THERE, ANDD THINGS THAT HAPPEN WITH PEOPLE WHEN YOU DONT DISCLOSE WHAT WE HAVE, WILL STILL HAPPEN.

SO IM OUT HERE TRYING, AND GLAD THAT OTHERS ARE TOO, NOT SURE WHAT ELSE I SHOULD SAY IF ANYTHING, BUTTTT HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE.

`Found out i have it after contracting from a girlfriend about 8 years back. So far not good as ive lost a woman i loved dearly and well the lasting feeling that i have this thing lingers and almost labels and divides me from everyone who i feel to be normal people. ofcourse ive made my peace with it however we all know the "dirty' feeling never really goes away.
As for outbreaks im fortunate to say that they have been quite mild, i eat a balanced diet and take part in different fitness routines so im hoping this balance will keep it at bay.
Hoping to gain as much knowledge from persons who have had this for long periods of time.

Observation: In my case Ive had this about 8 years and had only one breakout recently, during the course of eight years ive had multiple partners who i have contacted and who all have tested negative(wasn't easy informing them and suggesting tests). Ive read online that it can be passed on regardless of a break out or not however it dosnt seem to be the case with me. Anyone else have a similar story?(of course i still practice safe S-- since getting the news of having it)

`I just recently found out that I had it, I was with someone I very much cared for who I knew for years had it. We were very careful but I did not realize I had a massive kidney infection and it was just too much for my body. He is pretty depressed about giving it to me, and has been very supportive. I feel more relaxed now. But I also feel like my search for love is kinda over, I want to cry but i am very determined person and I don't want to wallow when it will not change this reality. I want kindness and love. I hope it gets easier.

`ive had it for about a year..and it still seems so new to me. il have days were i will completly forget, then the moment anything relatonship-ish is brought up or i see, then i remember. 3 months ago i found someone on this site who couldnt handle bieng in a relationsip.. i can honestly say he means so much to me..bieng with im made me completly forget bc it didnt matter anymore. now i have to start all over and hope that i will magically luck out again and find someone in my situation who is real and will laugh with me and goof off as well as really want me and not play games lol..its hard enough finding a guy like that normally..but i feel now its nearly impossible. on top off that i just moved to a new city and i dont know anyone yet lol... ugh litterally starting from scratch. i feel like there has to be more people like me in the same exact boat as me around..but were are they??

`I found a couple months ago that I contracted this from my boyfriend. He claims he had no idea he had it and he didn't have any signs of an outbreak so I know it can be passed without one. So far I've had just the one outbreak but I was off my feet for a week with "flu like" symptoms and the sores were unbearable. I'm scared to feel that way again and feel completely dirty now. Since then the relationship has ended because he had some serious issues and now I'm fearful no one will ever want me. I am having a hard time accepting this...
