I've been living with the curse for eight years. It is never an easy subject. Reminds me of all those vampire movies but without all the humor.
Despite it all, somewhere in the middle there is life still. Dreams know no limits as when before there was no curse. Finding the one true friend to share your path as one is certainly limited but not impossible. Finding love can still be. The pool is pared down but doesn't that only remove the players?
Let's face it, anyone here is looking for a serious relationship, period. If you are here you are "a member of the club", like it or not, and not given to being evasive. If you were you wouldn't be here.
25% of the population has the curse. Very few of them are here. That says a lot about us. We are the honest few of the few.
I have the curse.
I'm not ready to give up.
At 45 I'm still looking at another half of life and I don't want to go it without you. The best is yet to come.
The game has always been changing, ever since Kindergarten. I've been through worse than the curse. The curse ain't s---. Life goes on. Let's party. Let's live. Let's love.
Turn the page and forget the curse. Let's come together and put it behind us forever.
I like black jelly beans and crusty marshmallows. I like horses, the country, old stuff, craftsmanship. I don't like liars or those who keep secrets and play people against people, liars again, the same thing. I like motorcycles I like to walk, flea markets, I like salt water, warmth and summer. I like honesty. Sometime in my life I am going to find a best friend, one that really clicks and we are going to hit it off. We are going to ccok like famous TV chefs in the kitchen when nobody is there to see it, we are going to look fabulous dancing in some out of the way bar in the middle of nowhere to the juke box on Saturday night and even with everyone there at weddings and such, maybe even the jitterbug. We will count the stars camping in July and share in the smiles of our kids at the school concerts too.
Life does not end with the curse.
Forget the curse. This is life, let's live! |
