`well i quit dating along time ago. when i first found out i had herpes i was devisated. but i learned with help from a doctor. and reading alot of books on the sudject. i learned i can live a full life. i just have to be carefull about the things i do. and let any one i am dating know up front. some will run, and some will stay. i have chosen to not get physical with anyone un less i'm married. and i'm not looking to be married again. its been 18 years for me, findind out about my herpes. i quit dating 11 years ago. it just got to be to much to deal with. so now i have great freinds and family. but it took awhile to get there.

| .I got Herpies 7 years ago by a man who i once thaught was the love of my life,(Only he didnt love me). He knew he had herpies and didnt tell me, so when we made love, i got it, he told me after the fact that he had it and said in not so many words "well its your problem now!" After getting it i researched the heck out of it, i wanted to know everything about it so i could be better prepared in case i got into a physical relationship again. I made a promise to myself that i wasnt going to do to others what he did to me! Now 7 years later, im not bitter, or ashamed, course im not going to broadcast it to the world eather! I'll be dambed if im going to be labled by my Herpies, im me, and i like myself! |
